Albert Stubbins is about what you'd expect
Wink Everton V Arsenal

The Flying Pig would emphatically disagree, but we need Everton to grab 3 points from this shower on Sunday. (Has the Pig posted on the site yet? Or is operating under a new nom de guerre?)

There is talk Everton are about to bring in another no mark defender from the continent, though Jurgen Colin who has a 100 games under his for PSV Eindhoven may not be a bad signing. But more importantly, will Michael Carrick sign before noon today for either team. If he signs for Everton, then Everton have a serious chance to do more than just stay up this year. Remember the gap between 6th and 17th is only a few points. A central midfield of Carrick and Gravensen is a good combination of vicousness and vision.

But what about the Arsenal match? Can Everton grind out a result or will Arsenal tear them apart, Viera or no? Everton may have a "paper thin" squad, but Moyes can just about call on a solid 11, from Martyn to Campbell. I'll be cheering for the Blues on Sunday. What about the rest of you all?

This is the same Albert Stubbins who criticized the late and much lamented Marcus Babbel for head butting a blue nose, and then flat out refused to apologise. Yes I would certainly expect Albert to be cheering for the blue slime this weekend. As for me, I remember January 1987 like it was yesterday, when the blue slime Stevens, chose to maim the heroic Jim Beglin. Me, I remember the crack as the Beglin's leg bone broke. Me, I remember the cry of pain.
Yes, Albert, you go on cheering for the blue slime.

Pig, I'd love it if Nunez turns out to be the new messiah (wink).

You should move to the UK, Jim was a regular contributor to the now defunct "Premiership" tv show (welcome back Match of the Day) and he works now and again on channel FIVE coverage. He still looks the same as in his playing days (ie. not a day under 40)

So does Beglin still limp after what the blue-noses did to him?

Default Get In There You Blue Nose Bastards

We need Everton to give Arsenal a real kicking on Sunday, take the three points, and rough up a few of their pretty boys. Viera staying is a disaster.
