'I'd rather be a Paki than a Jew" so chanted elements of the West Ham support in their recent match with Tottenham Hotspur. There were plenty of other racist chants on offer that night, some loaded on to YouTube.

The Police are now investigating the matter. An FA spokesman said, "Racist behaviour has no place in football. We would hope that, if these individuals are identified, they will be issued with banning orders."

The above contrasts with this forum, where the accuser gets issued with a banning order.

For those not following, the "Flying Pig" accused Simon, a regular contributor to the LFCNYSC Podcast of racist remarks.

None of us were privvy to those remarks, as they were part of a personal exchange between the two.
