Nice to see 'Arry's dumping all eggs in one basket - they've already announced the following players will be rested for tomorrow's UEFA Cup tie against Shaktar Donesk (bear in mind their league match against Hull at WHL isn't until Monday):

I mean - certainly avoiding relegation is by far the priority *but* surely you give it a go with the squad they've got with 4 days in between (and Hull to face)....don't you? Spike has talked about the FA Cup being belittled but this is pretty dispiriting as well imo. And what can some of the players be thinking? (yeah, who cares in one sense but honestly I'd definitely be "wtf"?) Much less many of the supporters, who - while certainly sweating it a bit right now - must think they still have enough to avoid any real chance at the drop and would actually fancy the team's chances in Europe. Very strange to me.

Pretty sure the Utd tie-in died a quiet death a few years back - despite all the hoo-ha at the time, I don't believe either team really benefitted too much from it.

Just finished listening to the first half of Spurs V Mcity....Spurs should have been 4/5 nil up, but for the heroics of Joe Heart who pulled off 4/5 or more saves.

The main point is Man City and the endless cash supply seemingly not working so far city lucky to level with Spurs

If it wasn't for England's UEFA coefficient taking a hit, I'd love nothing better than for Spurs to get absolutely mauled over the two legs. (I know it won't happen but I can dream... )

I know it's really petty on my part but the possibly of them in the CL draw next week just doesn't seem right at all.

Trust me you are not alone, I want them to lose 20-0 but I know it won't happen. It not because i hate Spurs, honestly I feel indifferent to them but i really hate Dirty Rotten Harry and want every team he manages to lose every game they play- even if it's a scrimmage. If he becomes the next England manager it would be the perfect storm for me.
