Default Brighton home. Remembering the 96.

Overshadowed by the dreadful verdict in Preston, the crowd, the atmosphere will be electric and devout. Fabinho is definitely out - all of December - so that would see one of Milner, Henderson, Lallana or Wijnaldum in the holding role. The knock-on affect of Fabinho’s injury is that AOC is an automatic first XI now. Matip is still out, so MOTM Lovern starts alongside VVD.

Brighton are not the worst side in the PL, but I wonder if they’ve enough for a riled up Anfield crowd and a Liverpool side who feel they’ve something to prove after a so-so midweek European performance?

    Agent Shelvey strikes!

And suddenly the words "golden sky" pop into your mind for no apparent reason.
‘How many mistakes are you allowed?’ Klopp asked the fourth official. ‘Because if it’s 15, you’ve got one left.’

OK. 18 minutes in 1-0, VVD. At home. Brighton are looking alright, but not at our level. Can we please wrap this game up before 95'?

What is a distinction without a difference?

Being as nervous as shit hoping the other side don’t score in the 95th minute is the exact same as hoping that we do score in the 95th minute.

That’s a distinction without a difference and just once I’d like not to have to have the beta-blockers at the ready like Tic-Tacs at about the 85th minute of a Liverpool match!

    Still, 11(!) points clear. Woo-hoo!

On the plus side, we've avoided relegation. ;-)

According to LFCTV, Alisson will be available for the derby, but suspended for Bournemouth next Saturday. Perhaps something to do with paperwork or the length of time it takes to process a suspension. Whatever the reason, good news.

I am a bit sick of these 'proper' kick-off times, as I prefer to watch games live, rather than have to wait for MoTD. No games are being won easy, but we gained another 2 points on City, with a Europe-less Leicester able to close their gap to us to 8, if they roll over Everton (which seems likely).

    Derby next.

It was on NBC, I think. Definitely BeIn Sports.

In fairness, I was more ticked off about not being able to watch Michigan vs. Ohio State on BT/ESPN.
