When you’re on a win streak such as ours, every game becomes the most trying, difficult, etc. to date. But I think perhaps, absent the Napoli game, this will be our toughest challenge. Leicester are playing good football and since Rodgers’ appointment, they are 3rd behind us and City in points accumulated. Vardy is pretty much his Suarez and Rodgers plays to his strengths, Vardy’s and Maddison’s. Their defense is better organised than we were under him, despite the loss of Maguire.

From our perspective, we are almost at full strength with the exception of Matip and Alisson. Adrian is a good substitute for Alisson and Gomez is an adequate Matip stand in. As ever, as usual, the midfield is The lottery. Fabinho definitely and Gini? Milner/Henderson, maybe Keita.

This is the game where we either shake off our cobwebs of playing so-so and arsing into results or get caught out. Klopp is no fool obviously and will have prepared, but Uncle Brenny will be waiting in the long grass, as he was 8 years or so ago with Swansea. He has the wherewithal to do so again, but Klopp!
