I am surprised more hasn't been said about the challenge Kompany had against Leicester. Very similar to the Salah challenge and could have seen red as well. If he is off he never hits that shot.

Didn't see it, to be honest. Saw his goal on highlights, but not the tackle.

As I said, he deserved to walk for his challenge on Salah. Too often, I think, refs are conned by his mild-mannered, I'm-a-very-reasonable-guy schtick.

How about these events instead? (Think positive)

    E*erton / England goalkeeper's gift in the 96th minute
Spurs goalkeeper pushing the ball towards his defender's legs, resulting in an own goal.

We have to thank them to give us a chance to go all the way down to the final week.

Completely agree. And that’s the thing when you (I) start looking at the pivot points where we lost the title. Maybe there aren’t as many positives as negatives, but other than the two keeper howlers you mentioned, we also had quite a few offsides not called that led to goals, up to and including our very last goal of the season by Mané. My list notwithstanding, the damage was really done by the four draws and and the non-red on Kompany.

Don't get me wrong. I am with you. I understand everything you said (at least in the last two posts).
I have the same feeling too.
    Those 4 draws:
Ev*ton and Man United: That is not unexpected. They would do everything to make sure we didn't get the 3 points.
Leicester: Disappointed given that we were leading 1-0.
West Ham: WTF was our defense doing during that free kick? Answer: Kind of like what Barca was doing in that corner.

Now, onto important thing which make me *very* nervous:
How do the statistics look like when two teams play each other 3 times in the same season?
What are the odds that one team winning all 3 matches?

You mean like when we beat City 3 times in one season last season?

Good to know that it can be done.
