Default CL QF 2nd Leg. Just finish the job. Porto away.

Taking a healthy but not insurmountable 2-0 lead into the second leg, Liverpool should have enough to get the job done, especially if they score; Porto will then need 4 which is very unlikely. Last season on the R16, the first leg was away and Liverpool did the business 5-0. Which would be wonderful this time out, but like Porto scoring 4, highly unlikely. Porto are a better side than last season and while they may not have what it takes to get past Liverpool, I don't see a 5-0 hammering at home.

I thought Lovern would replace Matip against Chelsea, but didn't. I think he will here. So back 4 (Lovern/Matip) and front 3 the same. Midfield again the quandary. Fabinho, yes. Henderson, probably, if fit. Milner, maybe, if Klopp is looking for safety first, though that could also be Wijnaldum. Not certain that Keita sees a start, even if he did score in the first leg.

I don't expect Liverpool to lose and a win is not guaranteed. A draw suits nicely, but I've an itchy feeling our winning run will continue.

Enjoyed tonight's results, albeit Barcelona is a trickier nut assuming we finish the job into the semis. The romantic in me is rooting for Ajax to make it to the final in the other side.

I don't expect to see Origi start, but Lovren getting a start in Porto seems possible. Fabinho starts every game (for me), with two of the remaining midfielders based upon Juergen's whim or training, etc.

Not taking this lightly, but carrying a 2-0 lead should see us through. Get a goal, then they need 4.

I think we win 2-0. Bobby brace.

Expecting and hoping for a workmanlike finishing off of the tie. Not looking past this yet. Juve-Ajax was a great match, fun to watch. Can did look like a cart horse out there at times. Definitely rooting for this Ajax side on the other side of the draw.

I understood we were soaking up their pressure to start, but that first 25' was making me very nervous. Nice close out to the game in the second half, well managed and gliding to an easy win at a canter. Barca? Sounds like fun. Dunno if I'm completely happy with the Citeh result, one less distraction and more motivation for them in the league.
