    Default 2017-2018 Premier League Fixtures

    Fixtures here.

Start off with Watford away, followed by Palace then Arsenal at home. CL qualifier will be stuck right around the Arsenal game, I would have thought.

United at home on October 14th. Chelsea at home on November 25th. Everton at home on December 9th.

Swansea the Boxing Day fixture at Anfield.

Whilst it shouldn't make a difference, we all play each other home and away, timing of fixtures can shape a season.

We don't get off to the expected 6 points from 6, then you're up against it in the next 2 fixtures against two other "big 6" teams. The run in looks great, but if you're 20 points behind in March it makes no difference. I'm told our post CL fixtures are not kind. Our "squad" will have to deal with it. I hope we don't repeat our mistakes from last time, letting our league form suffer while not performing in the CL either.

The usual wait for Sky & BT to f*ck around with the fixtures before I start to plan on the season starting for real, last year it was 22 days from now before Sky announced their games (they should have the first set ready now in my opinion). I can't say I'm ready for the season, not enough movement in the squad to get me thinking we're going to improve on last year. But sure in the coming weeks things will change and I'll be looking at that game 7th April for us lifting number 19!!!

Those nice people at Sky are insisting (at the moment) to move our game against Arsenal on December 23rd to 4PM on December 24th, Christmas Eve for those of you who might have forgotten .

Public transportation will already be on a skeleton service and the last train to Liverpool leaves London at 9.21PM. Meaning a return to Lime Street in the wee small hours of Christmas Day.

When you’re paying £11m per game, I suppose you can do what you want and f*ck the supposed begrudgers…

If any LFC fans have away tickets, I will be happy to take them as I'm about a 5 minute drive from the stadium.
