Default Liverpool v Everton: Lunchtime Derby!

Early kick-off on Saturday against a resurgent Everton side. They will be dangerous, but so will we.

3-1 to us, Lukaku first goal.

    Dave's team:

    Mignolet

    Clyne Matip Klavan Milner

    Lallana Can Winjaldum

    Mane Firmino Coutinho

I think we have to endure a week of international again before this game, hoping we see all our players come back fit. No chance of Hendo returning? I've kind of given up on expecting him back, innocuous injuries start with a few days out then we don't see him for 6 weeks.

You keep playing Coutinho hoping that at some point it clicks again, interesting he's been off his game since getting his new contract, while Emre looks like a machine trying to secure his!

Klavan was strong yesterday but you know he's a mistake in him eventually, wondering do we reward his improved form or do you bring Lovren straight back in? Lovren hasn't a brain and in a 100MPH derby I'm always worried he gets sent off so probably stick with Klavan IMO.

Win this game, and we can sit back and hope others drop points knowing that week after week, there will be big match-ups where one of our top 4 rivals will have to drop points as they play each other.

Burnley at home are strong, Spurs may still be missing Kane.
Then Arsenal and Citeh play each other on the Sunday.

Sounds like Hendo is looking to be fit for Saturday. Would you start him (ahead of Can, presumably)?

Seamus Coleman out for Evert*n. Tackle by Taylor in the Ireland Wales game was all sorts of ridiculous. And then he's excused after the game with the declaration that, "he's not that sort of player". Well, he made the tackle, he broke Coleman's leg in two places, bone sticking out and all, so plainly, obviously, he fu*cking is that sort of player.

Anyway, Colman out only help us. Evert*n are not that strong defensively to begin with.

So I apparently angered the gods again and it appears Lallana has picked up an injury whilst on England duty. That's a pretty big blow, given how integral he has been to our play and especially as Hendo is not fully fit.

    Origi starts?

With Lallana out, I wonder if Klopp will throw Woodburn in a the deep end?

That would be a big test, I wouldn't be against it though if Klopp has faith then lets give the kid his chance.

Reading that Sturridge is in contention, imagine we'll see him on the bench but not featuring before he picks up a calf strain the writes off the season.

Whatever happens, if Hendo is fit, he starts. His energy is needed.

Evert-n while on form are in bits at the back with no Coleman or Mori, hoping we're all over them from the off.

Great day, sunny skies, 7 and 007 in the ground, a strong performance overall makes Ev*rton look like the top 4 posers they are. BD got the score nailed, but Lovren ruined his prediction by having Lukaku in his back pocket all day. What a game for Phil, hope he gets on another run now. TAA looked composed and dangerous out there. Hope Mane's ok, that looked nasty.

Since Kevin Campbell famously provided Everton with their finest moment at Anfield in the last two decades:

There have been 4 US presidents

    4 UK prime ministers

    5 Olympic Games

    4 World Cups

    13 X Factor winners

    3 new PlayStations from Sony

    Liverpool have won 11 trophies

    84 new Everton stadium announcements

    9 New England Managers

    And 28 Heavyweight world champions

Let's just say it's been a while. And of course they were cheated out of all of those games.
