Sorry, don't give a toss about the Tour de France, but how can the guy who won the whole thing be the worst rider?

It's not like he can fluke the win.

Well, it is a team sport and members on the team try to help the man man, the grand puba, to win. On each stage team mates will work in tandem to make sure that he stays close to the pack of main contenders in Wiggins' case and for his rivals they work together to get their guy to break the will of his competition. If you know Formula 1, it's like team orders or another analogy closer to home for you Dave is, imagine a running back being chased by the defense and he has some of his team mates blocking for him to help him into the end zone. He scores the touchdown but he couldn't do it without his other team mates. In the case of Wiggins and Froome imagine Froome being a bigger faster running back in the backfield with Wiggins but he didn't receive the ball so he had to do his share of blocking to get his team mate into the end zone.
