Poch? - Going to Real at the end of the season

Zizou? - Moving from a free-spending snakepit to a cheap snakepit? - unlikely

Simeone? - Worth it just to see him run this squad's asses into the ground

Woy? - Has proved he knows how to neutralize Daniel Sturridge

So the Evil Empire wins an away game against #17. Everyone runs riot and smiles for the new manager. Happy times.

Every player on this team has lost value in the market except for Marcus Rashford who played hard and kept trying even when life wasn't fun.

The rest of them? The team is a pram surrounded by thrown toys. A bunch of expensive players bought for 3 different managers who may be good but don't fit together.

There's a level on which I think Leicester repeats before ManU does (but it's just dislike, not judgement)

Yesterday's significant events in the title race were drowned out in the flood of media ejaculate over another historic Yernited triumph, this time rising up phoenix-like to vanquish the Welsh giants Cardiff. The title race has been pronounced over, as has the FA Cup, Champions League, as well as the British Open (all sports), for the next ten years. The mighty Yernited are well and truly back spew the pundits.

Pogba is pants. How he gets into the PFA team of the season I have no idea.

    Ouch.

"The Premier League’s three relegated teams took only four points against the top six – and all of those have been against Manchester United in the past fortnight, which barely counts."

    And

"For United, this has been – if we are being generous – a season of transition, although from what and to what is much harder to pin down. Maybe a mess led by a smile is better than a mess led by a snarl but it is still a mess."

The hilarity that is Man United's slow-motion implosion continues. After contemplating giving the Director of Football seat to Rio Ferdinand, it now seems they want to emulate Liverpool's transfer committee, but rather than build a team of professionals with different skill-sets, they are contemplating appointing three ex-players (Fletcher, Rio & someone else), who have really no experience beyond armchair punditry. PLEASE follow through with this, as it almost certainly destined to fail. Compare and contrast with that analysis from the Times on our data team...

Fergie's playing crew have way too much power in the club (see the sentimental push to get Ole hired after 7 games against dross or whatever) and I am hoping it is the ruin of them. Early signs are promising!

That moment when you realize that Brighton has just hired a more interesting manager than United. In a league full of really good and interesting managers (could it be the money?). Sorry that Bielsa won't be joining them next season. You can't go wrong having a manager nicknamed El Loco around.

Never understood giving the job to Solskjaer before the season ended. He was always going to bite your hand off no matter when offered the job, so what was wrong with seeing out the season, seeing how the dust settled, see who else is available, even do a few interviews? Short-termism at its worst or best.

So, the big question - does he make Christmas or no? My vote is not, though posts like this can sometimes look hilarious/stupid after a few years. Still think, no.
