Default New to LFCNY? Introduce Yourself.

Following Mofo's introduction thread lead, I thought I would say hi.

I'm a diehard Liverpool fan and just found you guys online while I was looking for a bar to watch 'Pool games at. I'm targeting the August 13th game against Chelsea as my first game at 11th street bar. I was going to bring a bunch of friends to check it out, so hopefully the crowd there will be fun.

Looking forward to posting with you guys

...and welcome! Look forward to see you and your friends next Sunday and a few other weekends after that.

If you haven't already had a look at our main site, please do so. There's loads of good stuff on it, including a membership form to fill out if you want to officially join LFCNY; worth it for the T-shirt alone!

Thanks Dave! Hey do you guys know how packed the 11th street bar gets usually? I want to check it out, but would like to check it out at a game where it won't be empty. Should I wait until the season starts or would the FA Shield game be a good one?

If it is always packed on every game, even better!

Thanks Connie! I am definitely going to sign up, but I just wanted to feel my way around the forum site first. I was looking for a bunch of NY Liverpool fans to connect with and this sounds perfect. My best buds in the city are Arsenal, Rangers, and Newcastle fans, so I will have to show them what fun they are missing when we go to the bar.

Honestly, depends on the game and time of day. For big games, it can get very slammed.

I would expect a decent turn-out for the Community Shield.

Sweet. I'm returning from a caribbean cruise the day before, so hopefully paradise will follow me with a strong Liverpool victory against these jackasses
