Hi, I'm looking for a bit of help ......
When the league fixtures came out, I wasn't too bothered about having to give up my seat in Block 103 on The Kop because I had already been on your site (very informative btw) and knew that I would be able to watch the match in the 11th St Bar. So see you all Saturday.
The problem is the Champions League Draw. I'm in Vegas for a friends wedding (otherwise 'she' would never have got me to go away during the season) and need to know where to watch the game on Wednesday (16th). Is it Crown and Anchor or Fado? I would like to watch it with some like minded people, not a load of fella's in Villa shirts in the MGM Sports Bar!! :-)
So where am I likely to meet a few reds?
No point asking the other wedding guests to watch it with me, they are either 'Bluenoses' or Wigan Fans and that would be hell.
Any help would be appreciated, if not might see some of you for the Burnley game.

Thumbs up Re: LFC Vegas - Latest news

Posting this for any Reds in Vegas for a match in future.
I went to Fado's for the Champs League game. It was about $25 in a cab. Take the address with you my cabbie didn't know it or where it was even when it was written down, so it wasn't the accent!
The bar was quiet, well it was a Wednesday morning quarter to twelve kick off. But the Barman and one of the Waiters were Reds. Got chatting to the Barman who was from Skerries about LFC and Anfield as well as Athens as he was there as well. The place was very friendly, nice pint and no ____ in England shirts (or Leeds/ Sheff Utd/ West Ham etc). They sorted a cab for me after the game back to town.
If I was over when there was a game on again, I would go back there rather than the Crown and Anchor which is full of 'Soccer' fans, you know the sort that slag Rafa, Carra, Kuyt without knowing what they are on about. The sort I end up arguing with even if I try not too.
ps They do nice tasty meals if you are hungry after the match.
