Default Hello! I'm visiting New York and...

    Hey guys,

I have several questions, and I appreciate your help in advance.

I will be in NYC on a school trip for the Chelsea game on the 20th.

I am staying in the Miliford Plaza on W. 45th street in Manhattan.

Can anyone tell me where the closest place to catch the match would be? How far of a walk it would be? Or if I would have to take a taxi?

Thanks, I am a rookie here so any info is appreciated

    Brendan

If you're looking for a bar in midtown Manhattan, check www.setanta.com for info - plug in the zip code for your hotel and it'll tell you the closest location.

If however you want to join your fellow Reds, the official LFC NY supporters' club meet at the 11th Street Bar (directions and info provided) - please see our website for all the relevant info about us.

Hope you'll join us bright and early next Sat. - 7:45am kickoff local time.

I emailed a whole bunch of resturants with setenta, but none of them are showing the match.

So i am gonna make it to the 11th street bar.

IS anyone familiar with the area. should i take the subway? taxi?

    Default Get there early, 7am

Under twenty one is allowed in. I don't think they check id's at the door.

    Mutts:

You will certainly be carded if asking for an alcoholic drink...just plan to introduce yourself to the bartender, Drew, first (and be nice to him of course!), so he knows who you are.
