    Cool Planet Everton

Relatively massive investment in Everton Football Club...

Our lot need to get their thumbs out of their asses. If they can be Planet Everton we could be Chucky Cheese Stadium on Stanley Park.

They do indeed need to get their thumbs out. I heard some very disturbing views from people close to the devlopment process yesterday. I suspect Mr Parry is gambling very high stakes & this story has some way to go before I take my 50 a game plastic seat in Stanley Park.

Default eerie thoughts near Hallowe's eve

Is that right? F*ck this sh*t.
I likened this saga to some dog days of summer rumor mongering by bored newspapers. But this is something that really matters and could be a real cause for worry. No matter what you think of TCB, the early signs for this season have been troubling . The thought of financial chaos on the horizon through the December window and into a potential fight for 4th next spring is seriously frightening.

Default Poor Scouser Tommy for the bluenoses

And to add to the spirit of things - here's this beauty from RAWK (thanks to Pascoli for letting me reprint it here):

Can i tell you the story of a poor team
who where sent far away from their home
to live in the sticks near knowsley
where only the cattle do roam

They were banished to a lower division
Had no hope of seeing far foreign lands
and the fans swarmed around in their hundreds
with their tesco bags in their hands

Oh a battle it started next morning
    Over at aisle number 1
    Oh those poor evertonian bastards
they where scrapping over the last currant bun

As they lay on the aisles of the tesco ( of the Tesco)
Knocking over the cakes and the bread
    and the bread!!!
As they lay on the aisle of the tesco
These where the last words they said

" Oh we are the evertonians,
Our ground is made of wood
    Were horrible bitter bastards
cause we've never been that good.
We support a team that's dressed in Blue
Its a team that no-one knows.
A team sponsored by tesco cause that's were we buy our clothes.

Saturday I had to listen to my bluenose friend all evening. I took great pleasure texting him the score of their game yesterday. Thank you Blackburn.

Please don't tell me that the bluenose are so desparate for attention that they signed up Rocky-that's what the newscaster called him- as their new spokesman. It was pathetic watching him on skysports news walking out of the dressing room to Rocky theme song.
