Reports suggests that James Beattie is back in line for a recall to the Everton team. Surely they are doomed if he plays.
We'll see. I think it would be good for the city if Everton had a little cup run. I wish them tomorrow night.

Blue Albert, you keep your true feelings well hidden, but from time to time they slip out.Originally Posted by Albert Stubbins

Not for him the "spectacular" last ditch tackles required to cover failures in positioning, the sort that of tackles that superficial viewers of the game love so much.
Had you seen the great Jim Beglin play, which I assume you did not as his career was cruelly cut short by a cynical and brutal tackle from your blue pals, you would not be so quick with your praise of full backs who do not know how to position themselves, and then have to make last ditch tackles to cover up situations which would never have existed, had their positioning been right.

1-1 in Bucharest. Yobo snatches a vital away goal 3 minutes after Dinamo took the lead.

BDave, that third goal is pure goodness, but there can be no relaxing... A late fluk second goal, and a 1-0 at the home of slime, and everything's for naught...Originally Posted by Big Dave
