    Not Pogballs? Or Slabhead? Or De Gea? Give it time, if not now, it will be soon.

    Re: Liverpool v Man United: Vote for Ole

    Remind me, who is it that’s their best player this week?

    United best Wolves in a cup replay. Apparently that gives them momentum. In truth I’d prefer the week off.

    Re: Liverpool v Man United: Vote for Ole

    Not that they'll start, but I think Shaqiri, Fabinho and Matip will all be training this week, so probably in the running for places on the subs' bench.
  7. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Naaah, that was olt who started this forum conversation.
  8. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Carra said the same on Sky? Didn't realize.
  9. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Sachin Nakrani must be reading these forums. Point #2.
  10. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    5 goals conceded in the last 15 games, 1 in the last 11.
  11. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Funny, I was going to post about Alisson. He did not one spectacular save yesterday, because he didn’t have to. Every time they had a shot on target, it was almost straight at Alisson. Primarily...
  12. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Lallana with another excellent performance. Had Milner been fit, I’ve little doubt it would have been Jimmy for AOC, so Lallana came on with a defensive brief, a la Milner. And he brought some steel...
  13. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    Alisson;

    Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson;

    Wijnaldum, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain;

    Salah, Firmino, Mane.

    Subs: Adrian, Minamino, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi, Phillips,...
  14. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    All the pundits and bookies are saying Liverpool are short odds to win this one, that with all the Spurs’ injuries, there’s no way they can match Liverpool. This worries me.
  15. Re: Tottenham v Liverpool: What, I have to wait a week to watch football?

    According to the boss, both Milner and Keita are out for this game (as expected) and the United game. After that, “we’ll see”.
  16. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Yes, you’re absolutely correct. What truth you speak. Because we all know that less than 5% of the crap on the internet now is nonsense. :cool:
  17. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Heaven forfend!
  18. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Trying to find new words for olt and me? :D
  19. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    What really amused me about this cup tie was the Ancelotti factor. More than a few pundits and journos who should know better (and waaaay more than a few social media “experts” - though none here)...

    Re: 2020 Winter & Summer Transfer Windows

    Jeez! Kids today. Is nothing sacred?

    On a more prosaic note, there’s a report making the rounds that Wijnaldum, who has 18 months left on his contract, doesn’t want to re-up. If true, the options...

    Re: 2020 Winter & Summer Transfer Windows

    Did you just make a funny? About kids' literature? Is nothing sacred?
  22. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Me too.
  23. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Away to Bristol City or Shrewsbury in the 4th Round. The old adage is true - as the Cup progresses, the games get more and more difficult.
  24. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    One thing that hasn't received huge amounts of attention is the role Lallana played when Milner went off. It was a real captain's inspirational role. He wasn't everywhere on the pitch, but he was...
  25. Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

    Best thing about that team is AOC on the bench.
