Re: Liverpool v West Ham: The league

The most significant part of this run is our spotty form through a lot of these games. If we really get going we are going to be embarrassing a lot of people.
  2. Re: Shrewsbury. Play the Kids! EDIT: Replay at home.

Are they giving them a holiday from school to play this fixture?
  3. Re: The return on Danny Ings. Southampton home.

Speaking of meteor strikes, this has now become my primary focus of worry about factors that could derail us at this point...
  4. Re: West Ham v Liverpool: I could watch it from my office, if I tried...

It's January. We're on 70 points. 19 ahead of second placed City. I keep trying to get this to really sink in. Half afraid I'll wake up and discover it was a dream. Mind blowing stuff really.

Re: Wolves v Liverpool: Train keeps a runnin'

Definitely a real test of the team's resolve, Wolves are a quality side and gave us a real go. Test passed, time to rest tired legs / tired minds and let the kids move us ahead again in the cup...

Re: Liverpool v Man United: Vote for Ole

Imagine what the score line would have been if our boys had their shooting boots on. Always nice to beat the scum. Even nicer to pretty much out class them. Fun times, roll on.

Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby, FA Cup Version!

Wow the kids are alright! Imagine being an Ev*rt*n supporter and surviving the first day back at work on Merseyside tomorrow. Arf. Millie's injury worrisome though.

Re: Showing off the CWC trophy. Wolves (h).

Gutsy win, that is. While sucking wind.

Re: Showing off the CWC trophy. Wolves (h).

Couldn't watch this as I was working, but sounded like we were running on fumes in the second half. Gutsy wind. A great first half to the season.

Re: Leicester v Liverpool: Boxing Day Treat

Holy Sleigh Bells Batman, City lose again! Ederson red carded and suspended. This season is getting more and more interesting.

Re: Leicester v Liverpool: Boxing Day Treat

Still buzzing. Not many footballers have a night like TAA had. I'm still kicking myself for the bad things I've said about Hendo (and Keita) in the past.

Re: Leicester v Liverpool: Boxing Day Treat

I was confident we'd get something here, but I never expected this. What a display. Please, don't wake me up...
  14. Re: COMBINED GAMES THREAD: League Cup and both CWC games.

A belated Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to my fellow Reds. Nice trophy to pick up here, a real test of our resiliency and recovery awaits with the crazy festive schedule.
  15. Re: COMBINED GAMES THREAD: League Cup and both CWC games.

Looks like they'll be relying on the short corner tonight

    Re: Champions League Draw 2019-20

Well, its going to be a definite test. Still shocked City didn't draw Atalanta...
  17. Re: RB Salzburg v Liverpool: The hills are alive, with the sound of music!

Hope it happens. Quality, our kind of player, great piece of business.
  18. Re: RB Salzburg v Liverpool: The hills are alive, with the sound of music!

Mo sure hates the easy goals, don't he.
  19. Re: A south coast trip at a reasonable hour. Bournemouth away.

That new signing in midfield did a pretty good job today.

    Re: Liverpool v Everton: Derby!

Always enjoy a good old fashioned derby beat down. But I must remember we can't get complacent, they're only ten wins behind us.
  21. Re: Crystal Palace v Liverpool: Crikey! Croydon chaos on call?

While a big scoreline and very little drama would be a nice change every so often, gotta love these nail biters. Roll on.

Re: How they say "toast" in Argentina?

Time will tell but at this point I can't imagine a worse owner-manager match than Levy and Mourinho.
  23. Re: Liverpool v City: Surely City Slip on Sky Super Sunday against the Scousers!

Really absorbing game to watch, as BD says City started very strong and we were fortunate the handball / non-handball and Fabinho bomb broke their stride a bit. After that, we were just more...
  24. Re: Why, it's the CL Final...nope, just Spurs at home.

Another three points, strong comeback after an early wobble. Sounds like it was a nice evening out for BD overall. Roll on.

Re: Man United v Liverpool: Ole vs. Allez

Now that the league winning streak monkey is off our backs, let's start another one. Still grates to drop points to the scum tho.
